10 minutes of inspiration - this is why we do it
Carly has autism but has been able to develop a way to communicate. You will never believe it. I barely believe it! Take 10 minutes to be inspired. This is why education for children with intellectual disabilities is so important. Proof that disability is not inability!
Also please note that the laptop wasn't the solution. It was a tool, used in hours, weeks, days and years of education. Technology can help but it is not the sole solution. The advocates are the solution! People who fought for Carly to learn despite the challenges and how hopeless the situation felt.
