Access to healthcare and nutrition is a human right for all children

Malnutrition runs rampant in Uganda where finances are constrained. Most families live day-to-day, purchasing only what they need when they need it. During Covid food prices tripled and restrictions on transportation and health facilities left many families in need. Mercy killings increased as parents, with no access or funds for local health services were forced to deny medication and medication to children with disabilities.

During Covid the Embrace Kulture team in Uganda provided mobile medical services to get life saving medication and services to children.  With our partner Home of Hope,  we provide emergency nutritional and life-saving support to 86 children with special needs.

Our nutrition and health fund allows us to provide  emergency medical care, nutritional, medical and therapeutic needs for children

GIVE THE GIFT OF HEALTH AND NUTRITION

The gift of health and nutrition can save a child's life.

  • $50:  Provide medication for a child for a year

  • $100:  Supply a month of food

  • $500:  Support a life-saving surgery

  • $1,000:  Establish local heath care services for a community

We've set a goal of $5,00. If we achieve our goal the donation will be matched and we will be able to provide life saving support to 86 children.
