"After visiting the Entebbe Welfare School in Uganda I learned about the lack of resources available for all children with special needs. It was easy to become committed to the goals of the team of leaders in Africa. I serve as Treasurer for the Embrace Kulture nonprofit established here in America for the purpose of providing grants to Africa."

Why I Support Embrace Kulture:

In 2015 I traveled to Uganda and visited the Entebbe Welfare School, a special needs school. After learning about the lack of resources available for all special needs children and adults in Uganda it was easy to become committed to the goals of the team she developed in Africa.

What Program I'm Passionate About:

After a visit to Uganda and spending time with their special needs children and young adults it was clear to me the nutrition and health issues were critical to survival and thriving of these individuals.  Specifically malnutrition and critical health care needs were evident in a large portion of the students.  Funding for time sensitive and emergency care were a clear need.  Over the years Embrace Kulture in the US has sent grants to Embrace Kulture in Uganda for the Ammanyi Center Home of Hope and we have seen the life saving treatments and watched malnourished children begin to thrive by meeting daily nutritional needs.
